Costa Teguise Golf

This golf course is located at the foot of an old volcano and has stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. The course has an 18-hole course designed by the British John Harris and built in 1978. During 2007 and early 2008 the original layout and the old tees that were unused were recovered.

The course is not only wonderful for its design but also for the conditions in which it is found throughout the year. The route runs along the foot of an ancient volcano, among volcanic lava, cacti and palm trees that make for an exalting place, where you can appreciate nature at its best, the same nature cared for and maintained by man, just as César Manrique instilled to all Lanzarote residents.

The design of the course is soft and very varied, with numerous dog legs that provoke the player and force him to play with all the clubs in the bag, posing a challenge for the professional player, while offering attractive and pleasant golf for those whose skill is more modest.

The streets are closed by a group of more than 3000 palm trees and have stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. Added to its privileged location are the attractions of a pleasant and warm climate throughout the year, softened by the sea breeze brought about by the almost constant influence of the Trade winds.
