Tenerife is the largest of the seven Canary Islands and is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean. The island is located approximately 170km off the coast of North Africa and enjoys eternal sunshine throughout the twelve months of the year, making it a very popular destination for all Europeans.
Tenerife is a volcanic island and has a great mix of rocky terrain, beautiful landscapes and a tropical climate with year-round temperatures averaging 23 degrees Celsius (about 76 degrees Fahrenheit). Many call it “the island of eternal spring.” Many people believe that the weather is very hot in summer… actually the opposite of the real situation. The island enjoys temperatures in the summer months of approx. 28 – 30 º C which are ideal temperatures for golf in summer.
In the south of the island you can enjoy a wide variety of activities such as water parks, whale watching, water and adventure sports, etc. If you decide to stay in the north of the island, you can visit numerous historic Canarian towns, enjoy nature through excursions and enjoy the local cuisine.
Tenerife has nine unique golf courses, distributed throughout the north and south of the Island, which offer a different way to enjoy this sport.
